Nintendo Wii Menu 3.4 updates TOS & Removes Saved Files!!!

I tried to access my Nintendo Channel on the Wii yesterday and was informed that i need to update my Wii Menu to the latest Wii Menu version 3.4 in order to obtain the latest Nintendo Channel form Wii Shop and gave me the usual round of yadda yadda as to how to go about updating it from the settings section. Get real. Remember what the previous Wii menu update 3.3 did to most consoles. Rendered the Freeloader useless.
So, what will the latest Wii 3.4 system update do this time. It will amend the Nintendo User Agreement. The new system update will “check for and automatically remove” all “unauthorized modifications to save files” too. GAG!!!! Homebrew fans, did you read that? Better lay off the latest Wii system update for the time being until further notice from your fellow Homebrew community….
Barack Obama Wins 2008 USA Presidential Election!!!!

Democrat Barack Obama wins 2008 USA Presidential Election. This sets him up to become the first African-American in the nation’s highest office. Barack Obama is officially the 44th USA President. Bush even called Barack Obama to congratulate him personally.
Senator John McCain urges all Americans to join him in congratulating Barack Obama on his victory. This is what he has to say:
“I pledge to him tonight to do all in my power to help him lead us through the many challenges we face,” McCain said before his supporters in Phoenix, Arizona.
“Today, I was a candidate for the highest office in the country I love so much, and tonight, I remain her servant,” he said.
McCain’s running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin, was standing with him, but she did not speak.
So, what do you think of Barack Obama winning the 2008 USA Presidential Election? Are you happy for Barack Obama. Are you happy for the Americans? Will Barack Obama bring about a better America as the first African-American to become President of the United States? Will Barack Obama improve the current economic slump?
Jennifer Hudson’s Mother & Brother Shot And Killed

OMG, this is indeed shocking and tragic. Did you hear the news that the mother of Jennifer Hudson, got shot and killed today? Her brother, Jason, also died and her 7 year old nephew is reported missing now. Both Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother’s dead bodies were found in their Chicago home. Jennifer Hudson is an Academy Award-winning actress and who in this world would want to do such a thing to her family.
The mother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson was reportedly found dead in a South Side home. Two adults were found fatally shot at a home at 70th Street and Yale Avenue at 3 p.m. Friday, authorities said. A representative of the family’s church, Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist, confirms that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson was one of the victims. The other victim was a man, the Chicago Fire Department said. The shooting is believed to be domestic. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office has been notified of the deaths of two people from a home at the address, but additional information is unavailable.
My condolences to Jennifer Hudson and family. May your mom and brother rest in peace. May the police find the killer soon and prosecute him/her. I hope your nephew is safe and sound too.

Furniture From Bottle Caps

One of the things i enjoyed collecting as a kid was bottle caps. Those days, there’s hardly a can drink being sold. We only get glass bottled drinks at the stores. I’m lucky as i live right across the street from a grocery store. By weekend, i would have saved up enough pocket money to go get myself a bottle of carbonated drink.
The grocery store owner is very nice man. He knows i love those bottle caps very and would give me a big packet to take home. Those days, people go to the stores to buy bottled drinks. The store owners will open it for them at the store and place them into a plastic bag with some ice and a drinking straw.
Now, what do you think we kids do with the bottle caps? Are you aware of the small piece of round rubber stuck at the bottom of the bottle cap? That’s what we actually want, lol. Not the bottle cap itself. We will remove it and play with it. How? Oh, we each take turns to blow the rubber pieces softly and see whose rubber lands on top of the other’s first.The winner gets to keep it 
Take a look at the pictures below. This designer by the name of Rick Ladd sure has an ingenious idea how to turn his bottle caps collection into art pieces. See how he painstakingly stacks and sticks them carefully weaving in and out on old furniture. Sigh… if only i had the idea then. Who knows, the pieces you see here might just be mine.
There are still lots of bottled drinks being sold. If you are the kind that has been collecting bottle caps for years but havent got a clue as to what to do with them, this may give you a great idea. believe you me, i know lots of weird people who are into collecting stuffs. Useless ones too. Now go put on your bottle thinking cap and take start working on those bottle caps stored in your garage or attic…..
