It’s indeed a sad for fans of Soul Legend, Issac Hayes. He has passed away today at the age of 65 in his Memphis, TN home. Isaac Hayes was found unconscious next to a running treadmill in his home by relatives.

Paramedics were called and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. Issac Hayes was pronounced dead at a Memphis hospital.

Issac Hayes is best known for his theme song to the 1971 hit movie “Shaft”. He won a Oscar for best original theme song and also two Grammys for the song as well.

Issac Hayes is best known for providing the voice of Chef on South Park from 1997-2006 to the younger generation. But then, he left the show when South Park started making fun of his religion, Scientology. Condolences to the family and friends of Issac Hayes.
