OMG!!!!!!! This is news indeed. When i was still in early twenties, i truly adored Vivian Chow to bits. Her songs, her looks, her shows, her life. She has the sweetest innocent girl-next-door look, dont you think so. Her sudden absence from the entertainment scene somehow created a void in the then me. No one seems to be able to replace her in my heart.

Just now, i was going through some post at a forum and came across this piece of news on Vivian Chow. She’s back, and she’s gonna act in a new movie along Sandra Ng and William Chan. Her role of a lesbian is indeed a challenging one. I hope she stilllooks just as good as she was when i was still idolizing her, lol. Well, we’ll have to wait and see. meanwhile, amuse yourself with this writeup i pwnd from the forum:

Vivian Chow’s 13 year on-screen absence finally ends with her participation in new romantic comedy film directed by Ann Hui. The film has been selected as the opening film at The 5th Summer International Film Festival. It was said that in the film, Vivian, Sandra Ng and William Chan have several intense kiss and bed scenes. Besides Vivian’s playing the bath scene with Sandra, she also has an intense bed scene with William.

Her first comeback film being so daring is all because she has really admired this director (Ann Hui) all along, plus this is her first time playing a lesbian. It is a role that can be developed and is challenging. For her lesbian role, Vivian visited several homosexual websites before filming began. She also visited night clubs and a gay bar in Lan Kwai Fong with the director from time to time, and would talk about love experiences with other lesbians at the bar.

Vivian says: “Because it’s been a long time since I have been acting, it is inevitable that I’ll be a bit nervous of my performance. To really make myself get into the lesbian character, I often hypnotize myself to like women. After communicating with several lesbians, I discovered that the majority of them are more gentle and attentive than men. During filming, I will often talk to Sandra, after work I would call her and be like a real couple with her, so when shooting kiss scenes, it felt extremely natural. But for William’s bed scene, I was quite embarrassed because he really looks like a little boy.”

Ghost Writer is airing now and yet, i’ve not even watched a single episode of it. My friend told me to watch Ghost Writer online since i dont have time to sit in front of the tv. Here is the storyline if you are interested in watching Ghost Writer.

PO CHUNG-LING (Steven Ma) was born in Jinan a family of New Year print. He is very bright, his father, PO POON (Yueh Hua), has therefore always hoped that he could one day carry on the family business. LING, mistakenly thinks that POON is working in collusion with some corrupt officials, refuses to listen to what his father says. His good friend, KO JIT (Chan Kam Hung), is a constable and he hates corrupt officials as much as LING does. Rumor has it that a fox spirit is creating troubles in Jinan. LING is almost killed when he is investigating into the matter with JIT. Fortunately, a mysterious girl named LING WU SIU-TSUI (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time. It turns out later that she is the fox spirit, and that she saves LING so as to return a past favor. As they spend more and more time together, TSUI starts to fall for LING.

The PO family has secured a large order of New Year print. To ensure the work can be finished in time they have to hire a large numbers of female workers. LAU SUM-YU (Linda Chung) applies for the job, but her real intention is to look for the man who was unfaithful to her sister, never knowing that she would later be caught in a love triangle with LING and JIT.
